Opening in the Fall of 2013: Tecumseh Road Senior Apartments

Christopher Community has broken ground on the Tecumseh Road Senior Housing project. The new building will house 37 one-bedroom apartments for seniors. The project is funded by the HUD 202 program and Onondaga County. The building is located on Tecumseh Road in the Town of Dewitt. The building will open in the fall.

St. Clare Garden Apartments to be Managed by Christopher Community

As of February 1, 2013, Christopher Community has assumed management of St. Clare Apartments. St. Clare is an historic, 29 unit, family apartment building located on North Townsend St. in Syracuse. The building is adjacent to Assumption Church and will be undergoing renovations in the months ahead.

O'Brien Road II Gets Funding

In November 2011, Loretto was awarded funds through the HUD 202 program to build O'Brien Road II which will provide 24 additional units of senior housing for frail, elderly people. Christopher Community will manage the building. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2013.

O'Brien Road Apartments, located in the Town of Van Buren, opened in April 2009. This facility offers 39 new one-bedroom apartments, all of which are handicapped accessible. Loretto operates a PACE Program on site which assists our residents with all-inclusive care to ensure they can stay in their own apartments.
